Weibu N10A Update: Not Dual Core, Single Core Atom CPU

Remember the Weibu N10A, that Atom N330 dual core, ION touting 10-inch netbook I revealed the other day in Japan? Turns out it’s not dual core, but single core, although it retains it’s nettop innards. It comes with an Atom N230 processor instead of the dual core N330 processor.

It also says 150GB HDD but I’m pretty sure that’s a typo too. Nobody sells 150GB HDDs. (should be 160GB)

There are no Atom N230 or N330, there are only Atom 230 (single core) or 330 (dual core) for Nettops (and also we can find them in few new netbooks), Atom N270 or 280 (more energy efficient) mainly for netbooks (and few nettops), Atom Z520, Z530 or Z540 (and in near future Z550 with 2GHz) designed for UMPC, but we can find them in few netbooks (even more energy efficient then Atom N series mainly due to US15W chipset).

Spare a thought...
