ZiiLabs has announced their own branded ARM Cortex A8 processor (1GHz) much like Samsung and a both of others already have, in the form of the ZMS-08 which boasts full H.264 1080p video playback (@24fps), 720p video conferencing, 1080p encode and X-Fi audio.
Samples are going out to customers now with plans to start bulk shipping in Q1 2010. pplications include netbooks / smartbooks, web tablets, video conferencing systems and home media hubs.
